Policy · Equality · Inclusion · Change
I help public bodies design and deliver policy and services that are equitable, inclusive and genuinely responsive to the needs of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities — grounded in fifteen years of practice and a doctorate in institutional racism.
About me
I'm an Irish Traveller and policy professional with over fifteen years of experience working across housing, health and education, including direct advisory work with the Welsh Government.
I hold a PhD in Institutional Racism, examining the systemic barriers faced by Irish Travellers. To the best of my knowledge, I am the first Irish Traveller in the UK to achieve a doctorate in this field.
That combination — sitting inside the community and inside the policy room — is what I bring to every piece of work: research that's grounded in real experience, and recommendations that are actually deliverable.
Today I work closely with communities and public services across Wales and the wider UK, supporting organisations to turn good intentions into policies that hold up in practice.
